Concept: Sporty and Futuristic Circuit Watch Design

This cool watch was inspired by the circuit boards and microprocessors. The designer loves the contrast between metal and synthetic that gave him the idea to design Circuit Watch. This watch has sporty and fashionable look with some futuristic touch. It has 2 tiers case, the upper one will display the minutes while the lower one will display the hours, illuminated by LEDs. To inform you about the AM/PM, this watch has 2 micro LEDs at the top and bottom of the main display.

The haptic, futuristic mobile phone of tomorrow

Basic haptic feedback not cutting the mustard for you anymore? How about a shape-shifting phone? If engineers at the University of Washington have their way, it might be a reality.  Computer scientists and engineers at the aforementioned institution have developed a flexible prototype called, 'SqueezeBlock'. The prototype phone has small motors housed within, capable of exerting varying degrees of resistance; depending on the pressure you apply. The applications for such a
technology are numerous. Your phone 's "resistance" could be linked to your e-mail, where an inbox filled with unread mail, would give the phone a rigid feel to it. The same could be true for your battery percentage, Twitter feed and so on. The applications might be bordering on the unnecessary, but who are we to come in the way of innovation?

INSIC Wall Socket Encourages You To Stop Wasting Energy

Have you ever wondered why your electricity bill jumps to the roof on particular months? I have. I don't feel that I used more electricity compared to other months but the bill says otherwise. It would be great if I could get INSIC wall socket that informs me how much energy I spend or waste. This wall socket quietly informs the users the amount of electricity they used, which will encourage the user to pull out the plug when not in use.

The idea of this design is based on the difference between recognition and ignorance. We don't have the information of how much electricity we spend, but if we have the information, we can spontaneously
save the power.

Concept: Fluid Wearable SmartPhone by Dinard da Mata

Fluid reminds me of Nokia Morph. It's a smartphone that uses flexible
"OLED" technology. Fluid provides mobility and ease in handling its duties. You can wear Fluid as one of your fashion accessories, this wearable gadget is certainly won't take space in your pocket, you can wear it as a bracelet. Unfortunately there's no further information regarding this phone design.

Sunflower Street Lighting Features Efficient, Cost-Effective And Eco-Friendly City Lighting

What happens when there is no power supply in the street light, in worse case, what if the light is broken? Unless you have a bionic eye or using a night vision goggles, walking through a congested road during dark nights would be a horrible experience. Sunflower street lighting not only eliminates the power issue through solar photovoltaic modules on the upper surface of the lamps, it ensures that if for any reason one light goes
down, other lights will still continue to work. Moreover, incorporating the LED light instead of usual fluorescent bulb has made the concept up to eight times more efficient, cost effective and eco-friendly by reducing the mission of
CO2. Each lighting consists 5 individual lamps on different cell modules and comprises one battery only to store the energy gathered from the sun during daytime. Finally, it the sunflower like appearance of the concept will
enhance the décor of a city just like a thrived garden with lots of bloomed sunflower.
